We got great value for our money at Hotel Palmenbad. The room was spacious, clean, and had a lovely bathroom. The staff were incredibly helpful and even lent us a PS4 for the kids. The location was peaceful and convenient, with off-street parking available.
The only thing that could have made the breakfast selection better was if they had more variety of pastries to choose from.

As a satisfied hotel guest, I recently stayed at Palmenbad in Kassel for a few nights. The hotel's blend of modern technology and historic charm impressed me. The recently remodeled rooms were stylish and had unique themes, like the Picasso room with its mesmerizing mirrored wall. The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. The breakfast selection was out of this world, and the hotel's quiet neighborhood provided a peaceful atmosphere. Additionally, the hotel's location near the UNESCO Hercules monument made it a great base for exploring the area.
I can recommend this hotel for your residence needs in Kassel.

The comfortable sitting area allowed me to relax and unwind after a long day of exploring. The soundproofed rooms ensured a quiet and restful night's sleep. I also appreciated the flat-screen TV, which provided entertainment during my stay. The dining options were excellent, with a bar/lounge area and special diet menus available. The staff was attentive and accommodating, making sure that all my needs were met. Additionally, the hotel offered leisure facilities such as hiking and a children's play area, making it suitable for both couples and families. Complimentary MeineCardPlus: Staying at this hotel was like hitting the jackpot! Not only did I get to enjoy free bus and tram travel throughout Kassel, but also free admission to museums. And to top it all off, I got a 2-hour ticket for the Kurhessentherme spa! It felt like I had my own personal golden ticket.
It would have been nice to have that option to ensure my preferences were taken into account.

The hotel is situated in a quiet area close to beautiful parks and a supermarket. The room was cozy and had a great view. The breakfast was delicious with a variety of fresh fruits, meats, cheeses, and made-to-order eggs. The staff was always friendly and helpful, providing us with an extra pillow and accommodating our requests.
There was no elevator, which made it difficult to carry our luggage up to our room on a higher floor.

Loved the cozy atmosphere, and the fact that the staff were super helpful and accommodating. The breakfast was amazing, with a great variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, and homemade jams. We also enjoyed the fact that the price included free entry to all museums in town and the use of public transport. The location was perfect, easily accessible and close to all the main attractions.
The noise was a major drawback. The lack of soundproofing meant that we could hear everyone going up and down the stairs at night, which made it difficult to sleep.

The breakfast was amazing with lots of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheese, jams, nuts and made-to-order eggs. The friendly staff was always accommodating and efficient. The fresh flowers and small palm trees on the breakfast tables were a nice touch. The windows in the room were new and energy efficient, and the heavy curtains helped keep the room dark and warm. The location was peaceful and charming.
The bed in the room was a bit too firm for my liking. It would have been nice if there had been a cafe or restaurant closer to the hotel.

The breakfast was tasty and rich in fresh fruits and vegetables. The staff was polite and helpful in carrying our luggage to the room. The room had comfortable bedding and a coffee machine. The neighborhood was charming and close to main attractions.
Our romantic getaway was severely affected by the noise level from the nearby streetcar and traffic, making it hard to get a good night's sleep. The hotel room had no proper door for the toilet, which made it slightly awkward for us.
